Probable Cause

THE DTSB

Pending. Night approach to runway 18 at Houma, LA. Crash site is about 4.1 nm north of the runway 18 FAF, aircraft appeared to be joining the runway 18 course. The aircraft was stalled and spun for unknown reasons, impacting vertically into a very marshy area that was accessible only by airboat. The wreckage was located the next morning, there were no witnesses that saw or heard the aircraft.
