Pending. Some kind of event occurred after takeoff, requiring both a return to the departure airport and then an off field landing. The crash landing path was long and high energy, which indicated a high airspeed and rate of descent at touchdown in a field covered in small trees. The high G impact crushed the cockpit in what could have been a much slower survivable off field landing.
